Hi My name is Brett McRitchie and I'm the Clinical Supervision Support Program (ACT) Lead.
My role is to facilitate skills acquisition in the ACT and region to:
- Build capacity for clinical supervision,
- Improve the quality of clinical supervision
- Diminish barriers reducing the provision of clinical supervision.
The focus on our events will be interprofessional learning including Allied Health, Medical, Nursing and Midwifery.
But I can't do this job without your help as I need to hear what you need. I would like to hear from anyone who has any ideas of courses and training requirements to improve clinical supervision within the ACT and region. To get you started I would like to hear from you if you can answer yes to the following questions.
Do you know of a training event that would assist us to develop new clinical supervisors that you would like to be offered in the ACT and region?
Have you identified a problem that reduces your capacity to take more clinical placements?
Would you like to take the next step when it comes to clinical supervision and improve your skills?
If you have any ideas I would love you to post a reply to this forum topic, or get in touch with me.
